Young learners from Talisay Elementary School participated in the festival alongside members of several CHMSU student organizations, including the Dynamic BPED, SPED Society, CHMSU DEAR, and CHMSU Sports Club. The collaborative effort created a supportive and inclusive environment where children could experience the joy of athletic participation.
The festival featured Paralympic-inspired activities, including Bocce and other adaptive sports designed to be accessible to participants of varying abilities. The carefully curated activities provided an empowering experience for all participants while serving as an inspiration to the greater CHMSU community and beyond.
The event underscores CHMSU’s dedication to inclusive education and community engagement, demonstrating the transformative power of sports in building a more accessible and empowering environment for children with special needs.
