Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) and the Bacolod Business Community (BBC) has officially formalized their partnership in a MOA signing ceremony held on May 11, 2026, at the AVR, CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus.
The agreement signing ceremony is among the featured events of the 5th PRIME_CHMSU Fiesta and 4th University Foundation Week.

CHMSU was represented by Pres. Norberto Mangulabnan, VP for Research Extension and IP Ma. Rizal Manalo, Director for Intellectual Property Management Director Armando Reosura, and Director for Internationalization and External Relations Rhoderick Samonte. Also present were VP for Academic Affairs Engr. Russel Dela Torre and VP for Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas.
Meanwhile, BBC was represented by Pres. Samuel John Solon, VP Jose Miguel Brito, Treasurer Fritzie Tagaysay Escollar, and Glifan Delicana, Events and Expo Committee Chair.
Also joining the ceremony were the rest of the BBC officers — Asst. Treasurer Jade Tolentino, Secretary Mary Grace Jorbina, Asst. Secretary Leizl Mae Edquila, and Collections Committee Chair Jedrick Go. They were accompanied by the Board of Trustees Members — Loan Committee Chair Danilo PeƱaverde Jr., Data System Committee Chair Luigi Corpuz, Hendrix Lim, Sheila Bengilo, and Christopher De Tomas.
This collaboration signifies the commitment of CHMSU and BBC towards contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals through local initiatives that will benefit students and the community.
