Organized by the Gender and Development Office, led by Director Ana Mary Ann Pancho, the training aimed to educate employees on gender concepts, recognizing bias and discrimination, and the laws and institutional policies that govern women’s rights and safe spaces.

The training featured resource speaker Marie June Castro, Executive Assistant to the Governor and Provincial GAD Focal Point System Action Officer, who facilitated the training sessions and open forum with the participants.

In her message, Assistant VPAA Noralyn Esona urged the participants to practice what they had learned in the training to promote safer spaces and maintain professionalism in the workplace.

The activity was co-facilitated by Alijis Campus GAD Coordinator Methuselah Daba-ay, Binalbagan Campus GAD Coordinator Rose Regala, and Fortune Towne Campus GAD Coordinator Ann Charyl Gallo.
