Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) proudly announces the successful conclusion of Intramurals 2025, a four-campus celebration of athleticism, creativity, and camaraderie held from November 26–29, 2025, with early campus-led opening activities starting as early as November 24, 2025.
This year’s intramurals, themed “CHMSynergy: Uniting Strength, Forging Tenacity, Cultivating Excellence Through Sports, Culture, and Arts,” brought together thousands of students, faculty, staff, and supporters from the Talisay, Binalbagan, Alijis, and Fortune Towne campuses for a week of spirited competition and university-wide unity.

Binalbagan Campus opened its festivities on November 24 with a lively Opening Salvo. The event featured energetic performances and the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. CHMSU preliminaries, where candidates showcased their opening acts and represented their departments with pride.
At the Talisay Campus, the University Gymnasium came alive on November 26 at 2:00 PM during the official Opening Ceremony. The Entrance of Colors, led by university administrators, deans, chairpersons, the USG, and athletes from Units 1–4, marked the formal start of the games. City Councilor Hon. Kenn Thomas Tirthdas delivered an inspirational message encouraging participants to embody discipline, teamwork, and excellence.
Meanwhile, the Alijis Campus held its Opening Salvo with overwhelming energy as students and athletes filled the campus grounds with cheers and school spirit. Guest speaker VM Kalaw Puentebella motivated the participants to compete with heart and uphold the values of sportsmanship and unity throughout the week-long celebration.
On November 27, Fortune Towne Campus officially launched its Intramurals with a dynamic ceremony at the campus gymnasium. Led by Dr. Nenette Padilla, Associate Dean, the processional march included faculty, staff, and student delegations in a powerful show of solidarity. The campus echoed with excitement as competitions in sports, culture, and the arts commenced.

Across all four CHMSU campuses, Intramurals 2025 showcased the best of student talent through athletic tournaments, cultural competitions, artistic showcases, and spirited departmental rivalries. The week highlighted not only competitive excellence but also the shared values that bind the CHMSU community.
University officials commended students for their participation and conduct, emphasizing how the event strengthened inter-campus collaboration and reinforced CHMSU’s commitment to holistic student development.

As Intramurals 2025 officially closed on November 29, 2025, CHMSU celebrated not only the champions crowned in the various events but also the unity demonstrated throughout the competition. The successful four-campus execution stands as a testament to the university’s unwavering dedication to fostering synergy, tenacity, and excellence among its students.
