CHMSU recognized at 2025 WURI Global Conference in Korea; COED faculty presents proposal for WURI-themed journal issue

World University Ranking and Innovation (WURI) formally recognized Carlos Hilado Memorial State University as one of the Global Top 400 during the 2025 WURI Global Conference held at Tongmyong University, Busan, South Korea from September 24-26, 2025.

CHMSU ranked 312th in the Global Top 400 Innovative Universities while also placing 31st in Crisis Management, 92nd in Industrial Application, and 93rd in SDG-Based Responses to Global Challenges categories.

Meanwhile, Associate Professor Vanessa Joy Judith of the College of Education presented her proposal as a guest editor on WURI-partner publications.

In her proposal, Prof. Judith proposed for the special issue to outline how WURI Rankings influence university management in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).

Prof. Judith was among the university researchers who are invited to become guest editors in five research journals including Case Research, AI Journal of Business, Journal of Mechanism Management, Journal of Sustainability Management, and ASSIST Business Review.
