CHMSU takes a digital step forward with DigiTatak: Responsible Netizenship

Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) conducted the DigiTatak: Responsible Netizenship with Globe Telecom’s Digital Thumbprint Program on September 30, 2026. The Globe Digital Thumbprint Program is a digital literacy initiative aimed at equipping participants with the essential skills for responsible and safe digital engagement.

This collaboration was organized by the Regional Center of Expertise for Education for Sustainable Development – Negros Island Region (RCE-NIR), Center for Internationalization and External Relations, and Globe Telecom.

The activity was conducted in two sessions via Zoom, one for the Alijis Campus and one for the Fortune Towne Campus, bringing CHMSU students together for a day filled with learning and interactive activities.

The sessions covered digital navigation and collaboration, cloud technology, and cybersecurity. They were presented by Ariana Grace Libo-on and Ahron Danielle Zonita, Globe Ambassadors for the Digital Thumbprint Program, and highlighted practical ways to navigate online spaces, manage digital files, collaborate effectively, and protect personal information from cyber threats.

Through this initiative, CHMSU continues to promote responsible netizenship and digital readiness among its students and community.
