Over 700 senior students of the BA English Language and BS Psychology programs from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, and the BS Information Systems are now prepared for internship deployments.
This was after the students underwent a series of pinning ceremonies throughout the month of February.
The BA in English Language attended by 77 students at CHMSU happened on February 7 at the Function Hall.
Former part-time professor Anne Christy Jones urged the students to embrace social interactions as avenues for showcasing their linguistic skills beyond the confines of the campus.
On February 8, the BS in Psychology held their pinning ceremony at the CHMSU Gymnasium with a total of 138 students.
Guest speaker Yanglee De La Fuente, a clinical psychologist, reminded the interns to enjoy self-discovery in their internship journey.
On February 16, the College of Education conducted its pinning ceremony attended by over 400 students at the CHMSU Gymnasium.
2023 LET topnotcher Dindo Española, a CHMSU BSNED alumnus, imparted meaningful perspectives on translating theoretical understanding into action and promoting teamwork among educators.
On February 23, the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems held their pinning ceremony at the function hall attended by 100 students.
Guest speaker Dr. Analou Panganiban, a guidance counselor at the Technical University of the Philippines-Visayas, tackled work ethics and professionalism.
The pinning ceremonies mark a significant milestone in the senior students’ internship journey.
