The College of Engineering will start accepting applications for the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program in CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus on April 13, 2026 until May 14, 2026, and for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering programs in CHMSU Alijis Campus for the Academic Year 2026-2027 on April 20, 2026 until May 15, 2026.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering:
- Must have taken the University’s Entrance Examination, and have QUALIFIED FOR ALL PROGRAMS (Stanine Score of 4 or higher):
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90, with no grade below 80 in Grades 11 and 12 (for graduates of senior high school), or
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90, with no grade below 80 (for transferees)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering:
- Must have taken the University’s Entrance Examination, and have QUALIFIED FOR ALL PROGRAMS
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90, with no grade below 80 in Grades 11 and 12 (for graduates of senior high school and transferees)
Primary Requirements

- Certified true copy of the following:
- Grade 11 and 12 Forms 138 (for graduates of senior high school), or
- Transcript of Records (for transferees)
- One (1) 2 x 2 ID photo (to be attached to the Application Form).
- A long-sized brown envelope with the following information written at the upper-left corner: Complete Name (Family Name, Given Name, Middle Name), Program, and Mobile Number.
- Drop your COMPLETE requirements at the College of Engineering Dean’s Office, CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering
- Accomplished Application Form available at the College of Engineering Office or can be downloaded in link provided below and printed back-to-back
- Certified true copy of Grade 12 Form 138 (including grades from the 1st Semester for Senior High School students graduating this Academic Year 2025-2026 or certified true copy of the Transcript of Records for Transferees.
- One (1) piece recent 2×2 photo (to be attached in the Application Form)
- One (1) long-size brown envelope labeled in the upper-left corner with the following information: College, Program, Name , Mobile Number, and Email Address (see sample format)
- Drop your complete documents at CHMSU Alijis Guard House.
Additional Requirements for applicants who belong to the equity group (for Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering applicants)
- Barangay certification or solo parent ID – for dependents of solo parent; or
- Barangay certification that the applicant lives in a barangay identified as a geographically isolated and disadvantaged area (GIDA), or
- Barangay certification that the applicant’s parents do not have college degree; or
- Barangay certification that the applicant is a member of a low-income family earning below the poverty threshold of Php 13,873.00 per month, or
- Identification card (ID) of applicants who are persons with disability (PWD); or
- Identification card (ID) of applicants who are members of indigenous people.
