The College of Arts and Sciences conducted a Pre-Internship Seminar for the graduating students of the BA in English Language, BA in Social Science, and BS in Psychology programs at the multi-purpose gym on February 7, 2024. The students who attended the whole-day seminar will be deployed to their respective host institutions next month.
Rhoderick K. Samonte, Director for Internationalization and External Relations gave a lecture on handling conflict in the workplace and emphasized the importance of integrity, maturity, and abundance mentality in cultivating a win-win approach to conflict resolution. Language faculty, Zian Rose E. Parpa highlighted Republic Act No. 11313 and stressed the importance of safe and inclusive work environments. In the afternoon, Guidance Counselor Rhea S. Linaja discussed work ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
In between the three sessions were an open forum which allowed the participants to interact with the speakers and their fellow students.
