The culminating activity was led by VPREIP Ma. Riza Manalo, ECS Director Roger Ray Manzano, IPMO Director Armando Reosura, and Deputy Director for Research Ethics and Outsourcing Ivy Aboy. Research and extension coordinators from all colleges, along with staff from the units under VPREIP, also participated.
Engr. Rey Ramos provided an overview of how Enviro?Blocks are manufactured and explained their role in addressing waste management challenges and supporting a circular economy.

These interlocking, eco?friendly blocks—made from plastic scraps, plastic bottles, and cement mortar—can be used to construct seedbeds, vermicomposting beds, toilet rooms, and other functional structures.
Participants likewise planted 12 jackfruit seedlings along the campus perimeter. The activity concluded with a fellowship lunch celebrating the collective accomplishments of the VPREIP units.
