Program Screening Guidelines and Requirements for the BS in Applied Mathematics program under the College of Arts and Sciences for AY 2026-2027

The College of Arts and Sciences in CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus is now accepting applicants for the Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics for the Academic Year 2026-2027.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Based on your Admission Test Results, you must be qualified to apply to Board and Non-Board Programs except Accountancy, Engineering, & Psychology
  • For applicants from Senior High School, the General Weighted Average (GWA) must be at least 85 in both Grades 11 and 12 (1st Semester only).
  • For transferees, the General Weighted Average (GWA) based on the transcript of records must be at least 85
  • Only applicants who graduated from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Strand shall be eligible for admission to the BS Applied Mathematics program.

Primary Requirements:

  • For Senior High School Students: Certified True Copy of Grade 11 (1 and 2nd Semester) and Grade 12 (1 Semester only) Report Card (Back-to-back).
  • For Transferees: Certified True Copy of Transcript of Record
  • 1pc 2×2 ID Picture
  • Photocopy of School ID
  • Long-sized brown envelope with the label at the upper left side of the backside.
  • Submit your complete documents to the College of Arts and Sciences, CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus.

Only applicants who meet the Admission Test Results and General Weighted Average (GWA) qualifications and have submitted complete requirements shall be accepted for screening.

The College of Arts and Sciences will start accepting applications for the BS Applied Mathematics program for the Academic Year 2025-2026 from April 20, 2026 until May 6, 2025.
