The 2-day candidates’ forum co-presented via FB live by CHMSC and Youlink Community Channel ended at 6:30 pm today April 10 with the participation of some candidates from Asenso Bacolod and Grupo Progresso who took turns in presenting their platforms in a series of interview hosted by Agnes Lira Jundos. Present for Asenso Bacolod were Vladimir Gonzales, Jason Villarosa, Pao Sy, and Al Espino and for Grupo Progresso were Carl Lopez and Dr. Chris Sorongon.
CHMSC is a non-partisan public higher education institution and it does not support or oppose any political party or candidate. The purpose of our partnership with Youlink Community Channel in hosting this candidates’ forum is to provide the public a venue to get to know the candidates running for office and their different platforms of government thereby promoting civic political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in the upcoming elections.
