Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) once again brought its expertise beyond its campuses as Director Maria Victoria Violanda of the Office for Student Affairs and Services, served as a Plenary Speaker during the Philippine Society for Educational Research and Evaluation (PSERE) Regional Research Seminar-Workshop held on September 9, 2026, at the John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation, Inc. in Bacolod City.
The PSERE Regional Research Seminar-Workshop is a professional development gathering for teachers, school leaders, and researchers.





Director Violanda shared her expertise on “Green Campus: From Policy to Practice,” a topic aligned with this year’s seminar-workshop theme, “Responsible Stewardship Towards a Smart Planet.”
Organized by PSERE, these regional events focus on building skills in academic inquiry, sharing innovative teaching methods, and promoting evidence-based school practices
The event gathered researchers, educators, industry practitioners, and students from various academic institutions and research organizations across the region, providing a platform for the exchange of insights, innovations, and best practices in educational research and evaluation.
