At the Freecycle Day held at the Talisay Campus Multi-purpose Gym on April 25, 2025, it wasn’t about throwing things away—it was about giving them a second life.
In celebration of Earth Month, CHMSU staff and personnel embraced sustainability by finding new homes for gently used items.
From clothes, footwear, and books to appliances, electronics, toys, tumblers, and trinkets—everything found a grateful new owner.
A total of 51 staff and personnel from the security team, JPA utility, cafeteria, and Materials Recovery Facility enjoyed the second-hand items.
Organized by the Center for Internationalization and External Relations and the Greening CHMSU Task for led by Director Rhoderick Samonte.
The organizers thanks as the generous faculty, staff, friends, and stakeholders whose donations made this meaningful event possible.
