Donate, volunteer now: CHMSUyanihan launched for typhoon-hit 5th District

In the spirit of compassion and community, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) is calling on donors, organizations, and groups to join hands in supporting CHMSUyanihan: Operasyon Bangon Quinto Distrito, a relief initiative for families and individuals severely affected by Typhoon Tino in the Fifth District of Negros Occidental.

Running until November 14, the campaign seeks cash and in-kind donations for affected communities, in collaboration with CHMSU students, employees, and alumni in the Fifth District.

The campaign is organized by the Center for Internationalization and External Relations (CIER) and the Federation of CHMSU University Student Government (FCUSG), in partnership with the Office of 5th District Representative Dino Yulo and Art Relief Mobile Kitchen.

CHMSUyanihan is appealing to generous donors for in-kind contributions such as drinking water, rice, hygiene kits, towels, blankets, utensils, and tumblers.

Donations may be dropped off at any of the four CHMSU campuses: Alijis, Binalbagan, Fortune Towne, and Talisay (Main).

Cash donations may be sent via GCash to account number 0938-658-0015, under the name of FCUSG Treasurer Chrisha Joy Natividad.
