To shape globally competitive and high-impact research, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property invited three international experts to serve as resource speakers in the seminar “Quality and Standards in Research Publication: Editor’s Praxes with International Publishers”, afternoon of December 10, 2025.
The hybrid seminar, held at the Talisay Campus Function Hall and via Zoom, featured keynote presentations from Prof. Reynaldo Segumpan of the City Graduate School, City University Malaysia (Malaysia); Asst. Prof. Vic Benuyenah of Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham (United Arab Emirates); and Robert John Lamis, Molecular Biologist and Medical Writer at EMD-ASIA Science Communication Co. Ltd. (Taiwan).
This event was organized in collaboration with the Master in Public Administration and Master in Business Administration programs under the Advanced Education Programs.
Through this seminar, the organizers aim to enhance the quality and relevance of research produced by CHMSU faculty and AEP students, making their outputs viable for publication in internationally recognized journals. In doing so, the initiative ensures that their work delivers meaningful benefits to communities and provides innovative solutions to pressing societal challenges.
