The Podbokasiya series of episode screenings made its final stop at the Talisay (Main) Campus Audio-Visual Room on March 4, 2026.
Attended by class mayors, club presidents, and first-year and third-year students from the BA Social Science program, the video podcast screening—held in two sessions—served as a platform for discussion on how students can contribute positively in times of disasters.

In the morning session, Discipline Officer Johara Louise Temporosa urged students to be more thoughtful and conscientious in their use of social media during disasters, emphasizing that it is the most accessible form of technology for them.
DRRM Director Rino Del Castillo, who participated in both the morning and afternoon screenings, provided insights on how the local government unit monitors typhoons, assesses earthquakes and fires, and decides when to suspend classes.
He also shared examples of how students can take part in various volunteer programs, initiatives, and activities organized by the school, student organizations, and partner institutions.
Meanwhile, CHMSU-DEARS Adviser and BASS Program Chairperson Robert Pardillo challenged students to engage more actively in government processes, including volunteering during disasters through local youth groups.
He underscored that participatory governance also involves students providing feedback to help improve government processes in their respective localities.
