Students from CHMSU Alijis, Fortune Towne, and Talisay campuses gathered today, April 15, 2026, at Middle Towne Inn for “Istorya Basura: Rethinking Bacolod’s Waste Solution.”
Organized by the Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment (NICE), this forum bridged the gap between science, policy, and community to tackle one critical question: How can Bacolod solve its waste crisis in a way that is sustainable, just, and truly for the people?
CHMSU was represented by members of the CHMSU 3Zero Club and the CHMSU University Student Government.
