CHMSU Graduation 2026 Bulletin no 10

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Guests:

Please review these guidelines for the Commencement Exercises to ensure a respectful, safe, and orderly program for all.

Attendance & Entry

  • Due to limited seating, only one (1) designated guest per graduate may attend (parent, guardian, sibling, or partner).
  • Graduates receive one wristband at rehearsal for their designated guest. Wear it on arrival at SMX for entry to the main hall.
  • Lost wristbands cannot be replaced. Without a wristband, admission will be denied.
  • Academic awardees receive two (2) wristbands (for both parents). These guests have assigned seats; marshals will usher them.

Seating & Timing

  • Seating is first-come, first-served (except awardee assigned seats).
  • Arrive at least 45 minutes before the program for security and seating.

During the Event

  • Keep wristbands on for the entire event. Removing them will void re-entry.
  • Maintain silence or low voice. No loud conversations, disruptive cheering, or moving during the ceremony.
  • Set mobile phones to silent/off. No calls during the program.
  • Photography/videography allowed from your seat if it doesn’t block aisles, obstruct views, or use flash.
  • Remain seated until the program ends. Early departure disrupts the ceremony. Allow the entourage and graduates to exit the hall first.

Special Assistance & Health

  • For guests requiring special assistance (disability, elderly, etc.), inform the graduate’s marshal during rehearsal for accommodations.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please kindly remain at home.

Additional Information

  • The program will be streamed live on our Official Facebook Page for those unable to enter.
  • After the program starts, the main gate may open to additional spectators without wristbands (lobby/live-feed seating, subject to capacity).

Attire

  • Business casual or smart attire recommended. Avoid clothing that distracts from the occasion’s solemnity.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to celebrating our graduates’ achievements with you.
