CHMSU lays foundation for research ethics committee with seminar-workshop

The Research and Development Office conducted the “Ethical Research: Principles and Good Practice” seminar-workshop at the CHMSU Talisay function hall, February 27 to 28.

With this ethical research workshop, CHMSU lays the foundation for the establishment of a Research Ethics Committee that will provide policies and guidelines for all of the university’s research activities.

The two-part seminar-workshop series focused on the principles and practices underlying ethical research.

The seminar was attended by administrators, teacher researchers, and the eyed research review committee. Resource speaker Anabelle De Asis-Magbanua, former director of the research ethics review office at the University of St. La Salle, discussed how to protect the welfare of the researchers and their participants through implementing ethical practices in research.
