DOST-VI RRDIC holds FGD on CHMSU research, development

The Department of Science and Technology – Region VI (DOST-VI) Regional Research, Development and Innovation Committee (RRDIC) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on research and development on March 17, 2023 at Talisay (Main) Campus.

The FGD was conducted in line with the preparations for the crafting of the Harmonized Regional R&D Agenda for 2023-2028.

The RRDIC, represented by Glady T. Reyes, DOST-VI Science Research Specialist II – NOPSTO, Keithlyn Sarah Bernardino, DOST-VI Supervising Science Research Specialist, and Charmaine B. Nochete, shared projects of other SUCs and the different DOST programs that CHMSU will be able to participate in. Meanwhile, CHMSU Vice President for Research and Extension Andrew Eusebio S. Tan, PhD and Deputy Director for Scientific Publication Leah L. Fernandez, PhD, presented the university’s Research Agenda, #PRIME_CHMSU, and R&D programs, projects, and budget.

Also present during the activity were RDS Director Ricky B. Acanto, PhD, ECS Director Roger Ray S. Manzano, PhD, Deputy Director for Research Ethics Review Ivy G. Aboy, PhD, and research, extension, and IPMO coordinators.
