GAD holds medical mission with BAMC in Alijis Campus

The Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in collaboration with the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC), conducted a medical mission on March 26, 2026, at the Alijis Campus Covered Court and Audio-Visual Room.

Faculty, staff, students, and members of the community surrounding the Alijis Campus availed of the free medical screenings at the covered court, including random blood sugar testing, blood typing, HIV screening, and anemia tests.

They also received prescriptions and complimentary vitamins. GAD also provided free snacks and giveaways to all participants.

In celebration of the the National Women’s Month, it also featured lectures on breast cancer and cervical cancer at the AVR with the members of the BAMC Core Team leading the info-sessions.

This medical mission is supported by the the Pool of Bethesda Foundation, Inc. of BAMC.

The medical team and guests from the surrounding community were warmly welcomed by CHMSUans led by Campus Executive Director Glen Peter Garcia and GAD Coordinator for Alijis Campus Methuselah Daba-ay.
