Faculty members and researchers from the different campuses of the Carlos Hilado Memorial State University recently gathered for a three-day seminar workshop on Research Design and Methodologies in Food Product Development, held at the Talisay Campus Audio Visual Room, April 21-23, 2025.
Adrian Alumbo, a food technologist and Research and Development Services director of Guimaras State University, led the workshop and presented the emerging trends in food product development, research, food science, and technology.
The seminar highlights the growing demand for healthier, safer, and more innovative food products, a need for a solid foundation in food science, advanced expertise in research design and product analysis, and effective communication of research findings through publication.
Concept papers on Research Design and Methodologies in Food Product Development from Concept to Publication from the various Colleges of CHMSU for refinement and development into comprehensive research projects were also presented during the three-day seminar workshop.
The seminar-workshop equipped participants with advanced research design and methodological skills to enhance the development of innovative and high-quality food products from concept to publication.
