Led by Acting Commander Ens. Leoben Cortel, the resource persons from the CGSS Binalbagan, CGSS Hinigaran, and the Marine Environmental Protection Unit – Southern Negros Occidental (MEPU-SNOC), led discussions on key topics including drowning prevention and water safety awareness.

The speakers also taught basic life-saving techniques and emergency preparedness, giving students practical guidance on how to respond in water-related emergencies.

Binalbagan OSAS Coordinator Aniceto Olmedo enjoined the participating first-year students to learn from the life-saving information which are essential during times of disasters and emergencies.

Through the campaign, OSAS and the Philippine Coast Guard reinforced their shared commitment to promoting student safety and well-being, encouraging participants to apply what they learned in real-life situations.
