4,500 mangrove propagules planted at Balaring Eco-Park

In celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month, the Center for Internationalization and External Relations successfully partnered with the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, and the Balaring Mangrove Planters Association (BAMPA) to spearhead a mangrove planting activity at the Balaring Mangrove Eco Park in Silay City, Nov. 22, 2024.

Together, 4,500 Bungalon mangrove propagules were planted, contributing to restoring vital coastal ecosystems.

This impactful initiative was powered by the collective dedication of volunteers from the CHMSU 3ZERO Club, Event Management Team, CHMSU DEARS, Social Science Guild, and the University Student Government of Talisay. (by Via Alisbo)
