Nine Japanese students and staff members from Acti-LABO English Language School visited Carlos Hilado Memorial State University – Talisay Campus on the afternoon of August 20, 2025.


They were warmly welcomed by University President Norberto Mangulabnan and Director for Student Affairs and Services Maria Victoria Violanda.
The Japanese visitors were on campus for an educational visit and a brief tour of the University Library.
They were accompanied by Filipino language instructors from Acti-LABO, a company based in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

The group spent the afternoon engaging in interactive sessions at the Research, Extension, and Innovation Hub Conference Room with University Student Government officers from all campuses, as well as students from the BA Social Science Program.
The activity was facilitated by Information Officer Keith Brandon Cari-an and Support Staff Jason Pascual from the Center for Internationalization and External Relations, along with student volunteers from the Event Management Team.
