Carlos Hilado Memorial State University warmly welcomed the leaders of the Bacolod Business Community (BBC) on April 13, 2026, to finalize a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
Representatives from the University and the BBC convened at the Research, Extension, and Innovation (REI) Hub to carefully craft the details of this agreement, marking a significant step forward for CHMSU students and the local business landscape.

Joining from BBC were President Samuel John Solon, together with their Board of Directors and Trustees members Fritzie Escollar, Chris De Tomas, Danilo PeƱaverde Jr., Jose Miguel Brito, Ellaine Rojas, and Christie Dolendo.
By connecting CHMSU with local MSMEs, this collaboration will serve as a vital platform for students to gain invaluable real-world workplace experience while fostering research initiatives that directly benefit local businesses.
Furthermore, this partnership empowers students to apply their academic knowledge, skills, and abilities within a practical, professional setting, effectively bridging the gap between the classroom and the industry.
