Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) congratulates the 68 alumni who passed the September 2026 Psychometrician Licensure Examination, along with Ma. Christina Pauline Alquiza, who ranked 10th.
According to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission, CHMSU earned an overall passing rate of 95.77 percent and a 96.97 percent passing rate for first-time takers. The national passing rate for the exam is 91.73 percent.
Alquiza, who hails from Brgy. Minapasok in Calatrava, is a cum laude graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program, Class 2025.
She garnered a score of 92.40 percent in the exam, placing her in Rank 10.
Alquiza did not expect to rank, but expressed that she is proud to be the first topnotcher from CHMSU in the history of the board exam.
“I am very proud to be a trailblazer in the BS Psychology program of CHMSU,” Alquiza said, thanking the faculty, students, and alumni of the BS Psychology Program and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) for their support to the takers during their review and examination.
Alquiza shared that while reviewing is important in preparing for the board exam, earnest prayers and the invaluable support of her fellow takers, family, teachers, and friends motivated her and her fellow passers.
CAS Dean Arjay Alvarado lauded the performance of the passers. He said the high passing rate shows the continued dedication of the administration, faculty, and staff in providing quality education and service to its students.
BS Psychology Program Chairperson Riza Deocadez said, “This outstanding performance from our new CHMSU psychometricians is also a challenge for the students and alumni who are taking the licensure exam in the future.”
