CHMSU employees convene for general assembly

The faculty and general administrative and support services staff and personnel across all campuses of CHMSU gathered for the General Assembly to officially mark the beginning of the second semester of Academic Year 2024-2025 at the Multi-purpose Gym, Talisay Campus, on February 5, 2025.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas, warmly welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and commitment in fostering an excellent environment for educators and administrative staff. He encouraged everyone to embrace the new semester with dedication, innovation, and a shared academic and institutional growth vision.

University President Norberto Mangulabnan then presented CHMSU’s achievements in 2024, highlighting milestones at both the academic and international levels, as well as advancements in administrative and financial operations.

The assembly also featured Assistant Solicitor General Atty. James Lee Cundangan, as the guest speaker. He delivered an insightful discussion on ethics and accountability in public educational services, emphasizing the fundamental role of integrity, transparency, and responsibility in upholding the trust of students, parents, and the wider academic community. Atty. Cundangan highlighted how ethical leadership and adherence to public service standards ensure quality education and institutional credibility.

An open forum was held after the discussion, allowing faculty and staff to raise questions and seek clarification on the topics presented.

VP for Administration and Finance Rosalinda Tuvilla concluded the assembly by expressing gratitude to all participants for their active engagement. She reminded faculty and staff that as public servants in the field of education, they bear the responsibility of upholding ethical standards and accountability in all aspects of their work, ensuring that their actions reflect the values of integrity, professionalism, and service to the academic community.
