Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) formally inducted the newly elected officers of its University Student Government (USG) across all campuses during an oath-taking ceremony and one-day orientation was held on June 16, 2026 at the ETGB Function Hall of the CHMSU Talisay (Main) Campus.
The event was organized by the Office for Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) under the leadership of Director Maria Victoria Violanda. The orientation covered the responsibilities and processes of student governance, equipping the incoming officers with the knowledge needed for their respective roles.

The new student officers were welcomed with messages from Vice President for Academic Affairs Engr. Russel Dela Torre and Assistant VPAA Noralyn Esona. Also present were OSAS campus coordinators Anelia Bascos of Alijis Campus, Aniceto Olmedo of Binalbagan Campus, and Mila Ethel De Los Reyes of Fortune Towne Campus.
University President Norberto Mangulabnan also joined the students during the election of new Federation of CHMSU-USG (FCUSG) officers for the upcoming academic year, delivering a message to inspire and encourage the incoming young leaders. Meanwhile, Wolverine Dymosco from Bachelor of Social Science, was elected as the New FCUSG President and will be the Student Representative to join the Board of Regents.
