Fulbright PH introduces scholarship, exchange opportunities to U.S. in roadshow

The Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF), also known as the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, introduced various exchange and scholarship opportunities to the United States of America to students, faculty, and staff in an info session at the Global Learning Cafe, March 7.

The info session at CHMSU Talisay campus is part of the four-day roadshow of Fulbright Philippines in Bacolod and Talisay cities this week.

Among the programs that the team promoted were the Fulbright Foreign Student Program and the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers (Fulbright DAI) whose applications are now open for the academic year 2025-2026

Program Officer Milagros Tan and Communication Officer Daniel Solis also gave tips on preparing for their chosen program applications.

Director Rhoderick Samonte of the Center for Internationalization and External Relations also shared how PAEF has helped him get scholarships to study in the U.S. during the start of his career.

Students, faculty, and staff from the Alijis, Fortune Towne, and Talisay campuses who asked curious questions received Fulbright swags.Students and faculty interested in learning more about the Fulbright opportunities to study in the U.S. may visit the Center for Internationalization and External Relations in their free time.
