Graduating students at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University Talisay (Main) Campus joined a series of lectures as part of the Seniors AIM HIGH from May 18 to 20, 2026, at the Multi-purpose Gym.
The program served as the university’s culminating activity for final year students — a meaningful send-off centered on career readiness, mental and spiritual wellness, and professional integrity, with the Job Fair and Career Day culminating the activities on May 21, 2026 at the Multi-purpose Gym.
The theme for this year’s Seniors AIM HIGH is “Future-Ready Graduates: Thriving in a Digital and Human-Centered Workforce.”
Each day featured a dedicated set of resource speakers tailored to the respective colleges, delivering real-world insights and inspiring final year students as they transition into the workforce.
The event is jointly organized by the Office for Student Affairs and Services, the Office of Career and Placement Services, the Office of Guidance Services, the Alumni Relations Office, and the United Seniors Organization of each campus.
AIM HIGH stands for “Alumni Integration & Moving out with Honor, Integrity, Growth, and Hope.”
Day 1
The first day of the lectures were attended by students from the College of Education programs and the BS Hospitality Management program.
VP for Academic Affairs Engr. Russel Dela Torre encouraged the students to listen to the tips and advice of the featured speakers.
Career and Placement Coordinator Roxanne Rivera provided students with a comprehensive look at today’s evolving job landscape, covering in-demand skills, entry-level expectations, and local vs. online career opportunities.
Meanwhile, Guidance Counselor Nick Alayon guided students through managing job-hunting anxiety, coping with rejection, and building emotional resilience during career transitions.
Atty. Ricci Siason ended the day by emphasizing the importance of ethical behavior, legal responsibility, and building trust and credibility in the professional world.

Day 2
The second day of activities were participated by students from the College of Arts and Sciences programs and BS Civil Engineering program. They were welcomed to the sessions by Director for Student Affairs and Services Maria Victoria Violanda.
First speaker Jansen Tumabing hared practical strategies for resume preparation, professional first impressions, and positioning oneself competitively in the job market.
Meanwhile, Guidance Counselor Julian Sian Jr. encouraged students to nurture their inner well-being, emphasizing how a strong mind and grounded spirit are essential for long-term career success.
Lastly, Atty. Gem Maquiling inspired graduates to pursue values-based careers, challenging them to find meaning in their work beyond material rewards.

Day 3
The final day of sessions was participated in by students from the College of Industrial Technology programs and the BS Information Systems Program. Director for Guidance and Services Juben Palermo urged the students to participate and actively listen to the activity.
The first session with Brendly Ann Mateo walked students through navigating the digital job market, equipping them with tools for professional readiness and career confidence.
Next, Guidance Counselor Abegail Escaño ncouraged students to keep their minds strong, hearts light, and spirits grounded as they face the challenges of entering the workforce.
Lastly, Atty. “DC” May Leeping challenged graduates to lead with trust, do what is right, and uphold ethical values as the foundation of a meaningful professional life.
The Seniors AIM HIGH program stands as a testament to CHMSU Talisay Campus’s unwavering dedication to producing graduates who are not only academically prepared but also career-ready, emotionally resilient, and grounded in integrity.
With the collective wisdom of its resource speakers, the university proudly sends off its seniors with the values and vision to thrive — and to make a difference.
