The Carlos Hilado Memorial State University – Binalbagan Campus successfully held its Seniors AIM HIGH program from May 18 to 21, 2026 at the campus covered court.
The event gathered all graduating students, resource speaker, key officials, guests, personnel, and faculty for a transformative moving-out experience designed to prepare the graduating students for the realities of life beyond the university.
The program was packed with inspirational talks, skills-building sessions, wellness activities, alumni testimonies, and a memorable social event — all rooted in the values of honor, integrity, growth, and hope.
The theme for this year’s Seniors AIM HIGH is “Future-Ready Graduates: Thriving in a Digital and Human-Centered Workforce.”
The event is jointly organized by the Office for Student Affairs and Services, the Office of Career and Placement Services, the Office of Guidance Services, the Alumni Relations Office, and the United Seniors Organization of each campus. It was co-organized with the C-USG Binalbagan and the Red Cross Youth Binalbagan Campus Council.
Day 1
The opening day began with welcome remarks and rationale by Mira Fe An Enema and OSAS Coordinator Aniceto Olmedo, respectively, ushering the graduating students to the series of lectures and activities.
The first talk with Jose Tierra equipped the students with practical tools for entering the workforce, covering in-demand industries, total-level job experiments, and both local and online job opportunities.
Meanwhile, Guidance Counselor Dyan Gapulan guided students through managing job-hunting anxiety, coping with rejection and uncertainty, and building emotional resilience for the challenges ahead.
Administrative Officer, Meo Mallorca, Alumni Representative to the Board of Regents, challenged the students to anchor their careers in values-based decision-making and ethical behavior, inspiring them to find purpose and meaning beyond a paycheck.

Day 2
The second day began with a session with Himamaylan City Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao, who delivered an inspirational message and a candid talk on the real truths of career growth, drawing from his own journey to motivate graduating students.
It was followed by Engr. Mary Ann Goroy who tackled the growing relevance of artificial intelligence and automation in the modern workforce, and equipped graduates with essential cybersecurity awareness for professional life.
The morning concluded with the BPI Foundation Financial Education (FinEd) Unboxed session, providing students with practical knowledge on personal finance, financial planning, and overall financial well-being.
In the afternoon, the Pathway to Licensure Orientation was held with presentations from St. Louis Review Center, Power One Motivation Review Center, Peer Learning Review Center, and Carl Balita Review Center – Kabankalan, followed by an open forum.

Day 3
Day 3 began with a message from College of Criminal Justice Dean Purisima Romero and a Talent of Colors showcase. A Tribute to Teachers followed, a moving recognition of the educators who shaped the graduating class.
Guidance Counselor Hazel Gay Lagrada then led an engaging session on mental health awareness, helping graduates recognize and take charge of their emotional and psychological well-being as they transition to professional life.
This was followed by a session with Kervin Mahinay who guided students through a reflective spiritual retreat, encouraging graduates to reconnect with their values and find inner strength and purpose as they move forward.
The third day also included an Information Technology Industry – Internship Engagement and Feedbacking Activity. It was facilitated by the BS Information Technology program faculty led by Program Chair Gaily Rey April Guzon. The activity featured resource speaker Mary Jane Agonace who encouraged students to embrace mistakes as part of learning and reminded the interns that the IT field goes beyond just the technical skills.
The students also listened to messages from industry partners inlcuding–Joemar Bayog of SONARCO and Christian Adam Ynion of INKSITE Advertising.

Day 4
The last day of the Seniors AIM HIGH began with a message from Executive Director Joevelle Vergara. This set the tone for the session that followed.
The morning session featured powerful testimonies from CHMSU Binalbagan alumni across multiple programs, sharing their real-world journeys of success and resilience to inspire the outgoing batch.
The session featured testimonies from five distinguished the following alumni: Rolando Cabanganan (BS Business Administration), Gerle Mae Alabado, MIT (BS Information Technology), Gemnell Verzosa BS Criminology), Danabelle Malo (BS Fisheries), and Joevanie Tabacug (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science).
