Japanese company Jinzai Kenshu Kyodo Kumiai opens applications for CHMSU grads

Yoshikazu Morishita, Representative Director of Kyoto Jinzai Kenshu Kyodo Kumiai based in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto, Japan, visited CHMSU Talisay Campus on May 16 to discuss employment opportunities in his company and to arrange interviews with potential applicants from CHMSU.

Morishita was joined by Evangeline Lagman of MBC Human Resources Development Corporation, one of the Japan-approved Philippine manpower agencies for technical intern trainees, and Ailen Tibus and Ma. Jemina Matillano of Gengo Kenshu Center, a TESDA-Registered Japanese Language Training Center in Bacolod City.

Jay B. Estrella, EdD, Vice President for Academic Affairs, met with Morishita and his party at the Function Hall, Green Building and discussed the details of the invitation. Engr. Russel Dela Torre, CIT Dean, Roxanne Rivera, Career and Job Placement Coordinator, and CIT faculty members Lyonyl Paul Sevilla, Joshua Lopez, Ma. Lourdes Hagos, and Lylanie Rivera were also present.

According to Morishita, there were already earlier CHMSU graduates who are now technical trainees and that they are looking for additional apparel sewers, technical operators, and engineers.

By the end of the meeting, the faculty members were asked to identify students to bring to the interviews scheduled for May 17.
