The ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) recently enlisted Director for Quality Management Yrika Marie Dusaran as among the newest recruit AUN-QA assessors for future programme assessments.
This is following her participation together with Cindy Cañon, Deputy Quality Management Representative for Binalbagan Campus, in the 18th Assessor Training Workshop for AUN-QA Programme Assessment at the De La Salle University Manila on March 20-26, 2025.

A total of 45 participants from 31 institutions across 5 countries embarked on an intensive three-day training session, gaining invaluable insights from their esteemed coaches Assoc. Prof. Tan Kay Chuan, Assoc. Prof. Eric Wibisono, and Asst. Prof. Ornlatcha Sivarak.
The week-long training taught the participants the competencies and knowledge of quality assessment in ASEAN Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) as well as preparing for an assessment.

They also learned how to formulate questions and apply the plan–do–check–act approach for AUN-QA programme assessment.
The participants were also equipped to conduct desktop and site assessments, ultimately preparing the AUN-QA assessment report and presentation.
After the training, Director Dusaran said she would prepare the Self-Assessment Report for the Program Assessment of CHMSU, with the target visit date of AUN-QA representatives slated for 2026.
