Graduate Studies holds oathtaking, induction, and sports fest

Graduate Studies and Continuing Education held its Oathtaking, Induction, and Sports Fest with the theme “Nurturing Leadership and Strengthening Camaraderie for a GREEN Graduate Studies” on November 26, 2022 at the Multi-purpose Gym, Talisay (Main) Campus.


The program kicked off with a ceremonial walk for GREEN Graduate Studies which included a parade of teams, tying of orange ribbons on trees, and commitment signing to end VAWC. Director of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education Ma. Rosa S. Caraballe, PhD gave her opening remarks, while Vice President for Academic Affairs, Jay B. Estrellas, EdD, gave his message of support.


Graduate Studies Student Council officers proceeded with the Oathtaking and Induction with Bacolod City Councilor Hon. Israel P. Salanga as Inducting Officer. Student Council President Djonald Andrade gave his response on behalf of the council.


After an intermission number, Jay Jay M. Pisueña, Fortune Towne Campus CEA Coordinator, led a set of team-building activities to engage the group. The Sports Fest followed with Zumba, Ball Games, and Pinoy Games facilitated by MAEd-PE students and teachers.


The event closed with a message from Student Council Vice President Wanny B. Jaron.
