RDS conducts in-house review for research proposals

Research and Development Services (RDS) organized an in-house review for research proposals on November 22, 2022 at Talisay (Main) Campus.

The review started with a plenary session held at the Function Hall, Green Building. Plenary speaker Yvonne P. Velasco, PhD from the College of Arts and Sciences presented her research entitled “Investigatory Adult Education in the Philippines Towards Empowering Higher Education in Implementing Sustainable Adult Education Program (CHED-funded Collaborative Study Among HEIs).” COE Research Coordinator Wanny Jaron discussed the review mechanics and RDS Director Leah L. Fernandez, PhD presented the team of internal and external panelists.

Parallel presentations at different venues followed the plenary session. During the presentations, the panelists gave comments and recommendations on areas such as research framework, validation mechanisms, and data-gathering.

The proposals covered five areas namely, 1) Education and Management, 2) ICT and Technology, 3) Social Science, 4) Natural Sciences and Fisheries, and 5) Humanities.
